I had grown tired of AM/FM radio. I hated the annoying commercials and hearing the same songs over and over. It got to the point where I did not enjoy listening to the radio. That changed when I got XM in June 2003. I have listened to it every day since. The programming choices are incredible. Also, to hear music on the radio without any commercials is a dream come true! I'm impressed with the shows that get broadcast as well as the excellent DJ's/PD's that are a part of XM.

I love being able to listen to any style of music that strikes my mood, without having to search for channels while traveling in the car. I have about a dozen music channels I listen to regularly, and there is a variety of other programming available, including news and sports. XM Radio is terrific for road trips--I can continue listening to my favorite channels instead of searching for new ones every hundred miles or so.

Congratulations for putting on one of the most interesting programs I have ever heard on any media. I have been following the "D-Day" broadcast since it started this morning at 12:41 AM. It is fascinating, educational and just plain interesting. I am a baby boomer so I wasn't there when these broadcasts actually happened, but I am interested in the times and listen to Channel 4 a lot. Well, this D-Day recreation using the real broadcasts has my rapt attention. It is for completely unusual - can't get anywhere else - things like this that sold me on XM.

People from all ages in my family have found music channels taylored to their tastes. My father-in-law can't live without his 50's and 60's music, as well as the comedy channels. My favorite part about XM is that when I drive up and down the eastern seaboard for work, I never have to change the channel.
